Daycare and Boarding Policies

happy dogs at Broken Arrow dog boarding.

Stay & Play Policies

To maintain the health and safety of all dogs at Top Dog Ranch, we have a few policies for dog daycare and boarding. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions about any of these policies.

Play Groups

Boarding dogs will spend their day in play groups set up according to their play style. They will be rotated between outdoor activity areas (water fun, enrichment activity yards, and indoor climate-controlled play areas).

Nighttime Accommodations

At nighttime and naptime each dog is assigned a spacious lodge to sleep in. (this will be their assigned lodge for the duration of their stay). We lodge each dog on their own at first however if we notice dogs that share a home are more anxious when they are apart we will lodge them together at their caretaker’s request. If they cannot be fed together due to one eating the others food or either dog is food aggressive we will not lodge them together for their health and safety.

Lodge Cleanliness

Each lodge is sanitized at checkout.

All Dogs are Temperament Tested

We give every dog the opportunity to play in our group setting by facilitating a temperament test either through a daycare day before their boarding stay or during their first full day of boarding unless the owners know for sure it will not be successful or would prefer we do not try.

Required Vaccinations

We require that your dog be up to date on Bordetella (Kennel cough) DHLPP, and Rabies vaccines. We will need to see the most recent record indication they are in date by or before their reservation stay.

Bring Your Dog’s Food

We also require food to be brought during their stay as we do not have food on hand to provide. Please make sure your dog’s food container has his/her name on it.

Medication Administration

We are able to administer oral medications as well as ointments and ear/eye drops. If they require something that is outside of our realm of expertise we will refer you to a different facility that can do that for you.

Dogs Must be Spayed or Neutered

We require all dogs 1 year of age or older to be spayed or neutered before they can participate in our group play services. Any dogs under a year are allowed to participate but once they are a year or older, we will require they be spayed or neutered asap.

Dogs Must be Under the Age of 12

We are no longer accepting dogs over the age of 12 due to the extent of their health needs as they age. We do have a recommended facility that specializes in care of senior dogs.

5 stars

All the staff were super helpful and kind! My dog can get nervous easily but I could tell when I picked her up she started to really feel comfortable and love the people there!
